Nick Cannon is one happy daddy! The America's Got Talent host and wife Mariah Carey joyfully welcomed twins -- a boy and a girl -- on their third wedding anniversary Saturday.
"I'm in the happiest place I've ever been in my life," Cannon, 30, twittered Sunday. "I never had more amazing things happening. I am humbled by God's Favor!"
Carey, 42, delivered the babies, whose names have not yet been released, in a Los Angeles hospital, as her smash hit "We Belong Together" played in the delivery room. The baby girl, who weighed in at 5 pounds, 3 ounces, and measured 18 inches long was first to arrive. Her brother followed, tipping the scales at 5 pounds 6 ounces, and measuring 19 inches long.
To add to the celebration, the happy couple continued their tradition of renewing their vows -- and Rev. Al Sharpton even came the the hospital to help them out!
"I am just leaving Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon. She had twins yesterday on their 3rd anniversary. I had prayer with them and the babies," Sharpton twittered Sunday. "I also conducted the renewal of their vows and the blessing of the newborn twins. Mariah looks GREAT, and the babies are beautiful."
Celebrity pals of the couple were also quick to send their congratulations to the new parents.
"Congratulations Mariah & Nick!!!!!!!!!" singer Nicki Minaj posted on Twitter. "The twins have finally landed on earth!!! Yaaayyyyy!!!!!"
Katy Perry sent her love, as well, chiming in on the babies' nursery. "I hope that Hello Kitty room is BEYOND!"
We can't wait to hear what these already-famous kids are going to be called!
